Welcome to Treefort 2020

We’re backkkkk!

It’s year 9 and we’re feeling fine with a fresh, new look! We’re already counting down the weeks (it’s 32 weeks, in case you’re wondering) ’til Treefort Music Fest 2020 — March 25 – 29, 2020 in Boise, Idaho. Treefort offers us all a unique opportunity to take a break from our normal routine to discover new favorite bands, films, writers, yogis, hackers, thinkers, comics, makers, artists, ales, and foods while getting a little rock’n’roll wild with our friends and neighbors. For many of those going to school, Treefort lands right on Spring Break!

Every year we like to shake things up, do something new and maybe something unexpected. 226 days and we’ll be back at it with the best of the best music, film, dance, art, beer, and so much more. Until we share what’s in store for us at Treefort 2020, go and explore our brand new website, built lovingly right here in beautiful Boise.

Let’s get the party started: submissions are open NOW and tickets go on sale Saturday, September 7, 2019!

SUBMISSIONS

Submit your work for a chance to be presented at Treefort 2020!

Whatever your art form — music, dance, drag, visual media, film, yoga, tech, etc. — we want you to share it with us at Treefort 2020. Tell us about yourself, what you want to present at Treefort 2020, and send us your best work on your designated submission form (there’s a form for each fort).

Every fort submission form has their own specific deadline, but generally submissions are due in December. Music submissions are due December 5th.

VOLUNTEER

Registration will be open soon!

Treefort Music Fest happens each year thanks to the hundreds of volunteers who lend a hand, and 2020 is no different. We’re looking for new and familiar faces (and hands) to help out before and during the festival.

Volunteers will pay a $30 registration fee and receive a Festival GA wristband and one-of-a-kind t-shirt designed by Treefort Art Director James Lloyd. A deposit to cover the cost of the wristband, refundable after volunteers complete their volunteer duties, is required upon signing up for volunteer shifts on March 1st. Most volunteers have three 5-hour shifts during the festival, or less for those working Green Team or late-late-night shifts.
