Treefort Music Fest takes over dozens of Downtown Boise venues during the fest, making it super easy to jump from venue to venue.
Treefort is all about sustainability and environmental responsibility. We encourage you to have a smaller carbon footprint during your Treefort festivities by walking, biking, boarding, scooting, or taking the special Treefort public bus route, Treeline! Plus, nearly all of these methods are super duper FREE and simple!
Learn how you can get around during Treefort 2019:
Our local bus system, Valley Regional Transit, will operate a festival route — Treeline — Wednesday, March 20 through Saturday, March 23, 2019 from 6:00pm to 12:00am with six beautifully decorated bus stops at Main Street Station, 5th and Main, Idaho and Capitol Blvd., Idaho and 11th, Main and 13th and Main and 11th. The route runs from 14th to 4th on Main Street and Idaho Street.
The Treeline Circulator is free for anyone (no festival wristband required!) PLUS anyone with a festival wristband can ride any regular Valley Regional Transit bus route for free during the duration of the festival. There’ll be bands performing on the bus as well, schedule to be announced!
Whether you ride your own bike or use a bike from Boise GreenBike, biking is a super fun and easy way to get around the fest. Boise Bike Project puts huge bike lock stations at most venues around town to support bikers during Treefort.
Boise GreenBike, in partnership with Key Bank, is providing free rides for everyone for the entire run of Treefort Music Fest. In addition, Boise GreenBike will set up an enormous Super Hub encompassing all Treefort venues, meaning that there will be no out of hub fees as long as the bikes are locked to something. Free Boise GreenBike rides will start at midnight March 19th and end at midnight March 24th.
BOARD, SCOOT, WALK, BLADE
There are so many efficient and affordable ways to get from place to place during Treefort. Walking is of course the easiest way to get around, but it’s fun to switch it up! Go to Skatefort with your board. Boise now has electric scooters via Bird and Lime. Let’s bring rollerblades back in style!
Let’s be real — cars can be a hassle during Treefort. If you have to drive, bring your friends along or hop into your friend’s car. Save time, money, and the environment!
