Chef Michael Trebbi has worked in a kitchen for close to 30 years, starting as a kid helping out with prep work in his parent’s Italian restaurant. While he was in culinary school, he was wooed into his first chef gig. Since then, he has worked at a variety of food establishments, both in the Midwest, and more recently in Boise.
Speaking of wooing, Michael did just that with Anne-Marie, while they were in culinary school together. After graduation and their wedding, she worked in corporate food service. She also did some stints in event planning before going back to school to study nutrition. In late 2015, Michael and Anne-Marie decided to further test their marital resolve, and opened Wild Root Café & Market.
