What Remains: Women and True Crime
Has received international recognition for her poetry, performances, and work as an educator in sexual assault prevention and recovery. She is the author of the poetry chapbook New American Best Friend and has had her work featured on MTV, HBO, and the BBC, among others. Her poems have appeared in such publications as Muzzle, Winter Tangerine, Poetry City, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, and The Missouri Review. She is from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Dr. Marlene Tromp:
Is the 7th president of Boise State University. She is committed to supporting students and faculty, serving and advancing the state of Idaho, and helping the university foster research excellence to increase discovery for its students and the world.
Is a nonprofit outreach coordinator, occasional freelance reporter and endeavoring fiction writer. She moved back to her hometown of Boise six years ago, after studying journalism and covering stories in Montana and New York City. This is her first year on the Storyfort team. When not working, she is likely pairing books and coffee, wandering the Greenbelt with her canine soul mate or listening to an extensive repertoire of podcasts.
