Stories of our Collective Future: 2020 Youth Writing Challenge
Through story, we cultivate connection to each other and our planet. The Idaho Coalition Against Sexual and Domestic Violence is hosting the 11th Annual Youth Writing Challenge, encouraging Idaho students between the ages of 12-18 to submit stories and poems that promote peace and understanding. These stories will be selected by adult and youth writers to appear in an anthology that celebrates connectedness and community. Idaho Writer in Residence Malia Collins will assist in the selection of the final top ten submissions, and these young authors will read their work at Storyfort! This year’s prompts include collective thriving, authentic love, belonging, cooperation, and healing.
