Rhythmic Friction is the Alternative Electronic project of multi-instrumental performer, producer and designer Jeremy Kangior (AKA The Clap Daddy). His first full album; Freak Till You Squeak, was a 13 track release in the summer of 2016 with several other eclectic releases under the Domus record label. RF music contains elements of House, Funk and R&B; with catchy melodies and groovy baselines. As a musician and DJ with a career over 10 years in the making, his classification spans the musical spectrum with influence from many genres and styles. Rhythmic Friction creates a personal approach to his live productions with the aid of loopers, analog synthesizers, drum machines and other various forms of instrumentation ranging from guitar to saxophone. DJ sets include steady, concise mixing with a fusion of varying sounds to develop a unique story suited for any environment. RF creates custom LED structures for an engaging visual experience on stage and presents an eccentric flair while performing. Currently a resident of the northwestern US.
