The idea of Power House started with Austin when he first picked up the guitar at age 15 after being inspired by classic rock greats like AC/DC, Saxon, Molly Hatchet, .38 Special, etc. He wanted to form a band that followed in their footsteps and started writing the first Power House songs. Years of hardships ensued when Austin was unable to find band members with the same vision as him. That changed when Sofie joined Power House in late 2018. From that point it was clear that Sofie and Austin had the same future plans for the band as well as musical influences. Since then they’ve been building a following with local shows and took advantage of 2020 by recording their debut album, Double Dealin’ with a release in December. As of early 2021 there’s been some changes in Power House’s rhythm section with Zachary “Biinx” Breuer taking over on drums and Luke Leger on bass. Between the 4 of them is a kickass rock n’ roll lineup you won’t want to miss. They have plans for lots of touring and playing Power House rock n’ roll for as many people as possible!
