J. Reuben Appelman is a poet, memoirist, crime writer, novelist, and film and TV writer who has been called "a full-grown oracle of language" by National Public Radio literary commentator, Andrei Codrescu. In addition to his acclaimed publications, including "The Kill Jar," and documentary work streaming on Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu, including shows like "Children of the Snow," which he Executive Produced, Appelman has written poetry on demand in bus stations, on street corners, and at private functions for rich people for over a decade. He will be writing poems on demand from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm each day at various stations throughout Treefort, adding up to one hundred poems to his body of on-demand work. The poems written for Treefort attendees will be published as a perfect bound paperback collection, available for pre-order at his writing station.
