PIKENOTMIKE was born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. He was raised in Gaborone, Botswana and attended an international high school known as Waterford Kamhlaba United World College of Southern Africa in Swaziland. Throughout his highschool years he started making music at the age of 8 but began to take it seriously during his freshman year of college when he attended the College of Idaho in 2017. He first began as a dancer as part of a collective known as JInx Ent which later became MFC. PIKENOTMIKE's style consists of a mixture of Afro drill hip hop. PikeNotMike broke into the Boise music scene with his single "For You" released in 2019. Following that was his debut EP "Ninety7" which dropped in July 2021. This EP featured hit singles such as "Thick" featuring Dami Exodus, "Don't Tell Mama" as well as "Death of Kasso". Which got him a cosign by South African Hip-hop star "KashCpt."
