Kat Davis

Kat Davis is the Sustainability Director at Boise State University. She graduated with a BA from University of Colorado, Boulder in 2015 with a degree in Environmental Studies and Geography and a certificate in public health. She completed her MA in 2021 from Boise State focusing on Sustainability in Communication, Planning, and Design. At the university, Kat Davis oversees the sustainability office and helps integrate campus planning, projects, and operations with academic programs, student and faculty research, civic engagement initiatives, and community outreach focused on sustainability. Kat takes this work and applies it in the community, serving as a Green Team Operations Manager for Treefort Music Festival, working with the festival and local community partners to make Treefort more sustainable by implementing innovative solutions to reduce energy, water, waste and increase accessible alternative transportation options.
