Kasey has spent his career at the intersection of entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, and sales, proving himself to be a valuable business development asset at every level, from small businesses to global enterprise companies. A native Boisean, he received his undergraduate degree from the College of Idaho, where he also played collegiate golf. Before starting his own business, Kasey worked in marketing, branding, and business development positions at a range of companies including local software startup Balihoo, J.R. Simplot Company, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise. In 2017, along with his business partner Dan Sell, Kasey launched The STIL, a buzz-worthy dessert concept that combines unique homemade ice cream flavors with beer and wine pairings, booze-infused choices, vegan options, and other custom crafted favorites. The STIL quickly garnered local and national media attention, with features in USA Today, Washington Post, and Sunset Magazine, along with local awards for Best Dessert from Boise Weekly and Best of Treasure Valley. Kasey’s primary roles for the company as its owner include crafting increasingly better customer experiences, marketing strategy, brand positioning, and business development. He spends most of his time considering how The STIL is engaged in the community, how to deliver exceptional experiences for customers, and how to continually position The STIL a brand that resonates with Boise for the long haul.
