Jonas Seiler is an admirer of all things outside. A generalist, he tries to maintain basic knowledge and perspective on many things; a useful tool when engaging guests on the many wilderness river trips that he guides. He has spent much of his life split between Colorado, Denmark, and now Idaho, which has helped him recognize the importance of spending time outside with friends. As a fly angler, skier, and kayaker, Jonas has found his voice in the conservation arena; acknowledging that all of his favorite things rely on a healthy environment. As the Conservation River Fellow with Idaho Conservation League, Jonas will spend his winter in Boise connecting Idaho’s famed guides and outfitters to salmon and steelhead conservation efforts before returning to river guiding in the spring. Jonas looks forward to being a continued advocate for Idaho’s wild places, fish, and guiding community.
