EREZ

Los Angeles, CA/Tel Aviv, Israel

NYC-born, Israeli-raised, and LA-based queer artist and producer EREZ wears her heart on her sleeve and will make history doing so. EREZ began writing songs at just six years old, often penning dark and deep tracks far more mature than her numbered age. Anxious and unsure of her own voice, EREZ didn't start singing until the age of 12 out of fear that her low, alto didn't match other people's expectations. Throughout the years she'd come to find it's that distinctly low and raspy voice that sets her apart. EREZ's passion for music extended into the nightlife scene in both Tel Aviv and Los Angeles where she found herself dancing late into the night - something that influenced her desire to self-produce electronic based music. "As a woman, I didn't want to feel like I had to rely on anyone to get my records done. I feel like producing my own music has given me complete sonic freedom to execute my vision to the max of my ability in the moment I'm creating," she explains. "The musical landscapes I carve out are unique and feel like me. I've been lucky enough to get to a place where there’s no voice in my head of 'will they like it' while creating. I only create what I love and enjoy listening to." This talented alternative electronic artist has recently released three singles off her debut album, Two Rooms: A Modern Dream, which will be fully released by the Fall of 2022.
