About

Alfredo Ocaranza González is a Mexican writer who bears the influence of the Nueva canción movement that took place in mid-20th-century Latin America. This influence allows him to write based on the feeling of tenderness, but also with a penchant for social issues, progression, and a little magic. He is currently studying Literature and Gender Studies at Boise State University. His work has been featured in Impossible Archetype and Rigorous Magazine.
