Adrian Teacher and the Apollo Ghosts


Adrian Teacher is a Vancouver B.C. Canada based songwriter and performer best known for his work with Apollo Ghosts. He plays high energy lo-fi pop music and is known for his energetic, heartwarming live shows. His album Mount Benson was long list nominated for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize in Canada. He recently took time off from teaching elementary school to open for Wolf Parade and Japandroids across the United States.

Adrian has been fortunate enough to collaborate with many musicians, including: Dirty Beaches, Karl Blau, Julie Doiron, and Rose Melberg.

Adrian’s first solo EP, Sorta Hafta, was recorded at Dub Narcotic studios in Olympia, WA by Calvin Johnson (K Records). His latest full length record ‘Terminal City’ was produced and recorded at JC/DC Studios (Destroyer, New Pornographers).
