Treefort Live Music Relief Fund
We’re all in this together.
To support our local live music ecosystem during the COVID-19 crisis, we have started an emergency initiative to offer financial resources to those working in the live music scene here in the Treasure Valley.
Treefort Live Music Relief Fund will offer support for local artists, musicians, audio + lighting engineers, techs, tour managers, production managers and others in the live music industry.
To be eligible, applicants must be:
- A resident of greater Boise area for the past two years
- Active in live music activities as a primary source of income, either acting independently or as an independently-owned business
- Able to demonstrate proof of work lost due to COVID-19 related cancellations
- Able to receive taxable income in the U.S. (e.g. citizen, green card holder, and/or permanent resident who can provide a W9 and SSN or ITIN)
- 18 years of age or older
- Proof of past gigs
Disbursements will be made to qualified applicants only. Our goal is to make disbursements once per month depending on funds received. The fund will not award money based on “merit” i.e. our opinions of an applicants’ work but prioritized by need and be granted based on the availability of funds. Please be patient and understanding as we work through this process; our goal is to be transparent and equitable to all parties involved. All applications will be reviewed by Treefort Live Music Relief Fund coalition partners and representatives from collaborating organizations in Boise. Qualifying applications will be selected for funding on a monthly basis and notified by email. Applicants can re-apply each month.
