In their second year of partnership with Treefort Music Fest, the City of Boise Department of Arts & History has once again selected artists to showcase a variety of short-term, contemporary public art projects to be displayed at this year’s Treefort.

Through a competitive call to artists released in October 2018, forty-four artists and artist teams from a variety of disciplines applied to have their original work displayed within the Treefort Music Fest footprint. Each project’s commission varied, with a maximum budget of $5,000.

A selection panel representing the local arts community, Arts & History Commission, Arts & History Advisory Team, and project stakeholders reviewed each application and selected the following four artists and artists teams
