Last night was wild, crazy fun! The Growlers kept us movin’ & Mac Demarco rocked the house all the way through the hallways. Here’s to a full day of dancing, laughing, day drinking and partying and maybe more Delicate Steve stage dives! Let’s get started!
Music starts at 1:00pm at Main Stage with Queen of the Minor Key Eilen Jewell, Canadian artist Andy Shauf and singer-songwriter Jonathan Richman! Things will start to heat up as JMSN takes the stage, followed by Kishi Bashi. Bold and brassy performer Lizzo gets the crowd warmed up for Mac Demarco‘s second set!
A great night filled with Americana folk sounds at Basque Center tonight. The evening starts with locals Thistledown, nationally touring artist Anna Tivel and songwriter Jeffrey Martin. Local country folk band Curtis/Sutton & The Scavengers and singer-songwriter Courtney Marie Andrews open for another amazing set from Eilen Jewell.
Get punky at Knitting Factory with power punk quartet The Astrophobes, carefree pop punks SKiTTiSH iTZ and New Orleans band PEARS. Garage pop veterans AJJ and punk heroes The Bouncing Souls end the night. There’s also more bands playing upstairs starting at 5:30pm!
The Olympic kicks off with locals Dan Had It, Manhattan-based songwriter HIDEOUT, Portland trio Máscaras and songwriter Palo Duro. The night continues with new supergroup Boone Howard, jazz psych pop kids Aan, LA artist Nico Yaryan and classic band’s band The Dig. (21+)
Alvvays close out the El Korah Shrine with their sun-splashed and twilit songs.
…and that’s just the beginning! Check out shows at Neurolux*, Boise All-ages Movement Project (8th & Idaho next to Bittercreek), Mardi Gras, Boise Contemporary Theater, The Shredder*, The District, Hannah’s*, Reef*, Spacebar*, Pengilly’s Saloon*, Tom Grainey’s*, Crowbar* and Fatty’s*.
During this listening session at JUMP’s Inspire Studio at 12:00pm, our panel of music supervisors will give attendees a first hand look into their creative process. Before the panel begins, Treefort Music Fest artists will submit songs based on briefs created by the supervisors for projects they’ve worked on. Then, the panelists will review the songs on the spot and explain why a submitted song may or may not work. Attendees will leave this panel with a greater understanding of the music supervision process and factors that make a song a good candidate for licensing.
Check the schedule for when they tap into barrels from Woodland Empire, Grand Teton, Sierra Nevada, Deschutes, Barley Browns, and many more! Cups get filled starting at noon in the Alefort tent. (21+)

Yogafort isn’t the only place you can test your physical capabilities at Treefort this year. Meet Strengthfort! In a cozy space hemmed in by white picket fence on 12th south of Grove starting at 12:00pm, you’ll be able to wile away doing things like swinging a hammer to ring a bell, winning the silver medal at the 1896 Summer Olympics (or hoisting a dumbbell that would have nearly been good enough to do that, anyway) and testing your mettle against petrified potatoes ranging from adorably wee to bigly yuge.
