Parents, grandparents, kids and kids at heart – make sure you add Kidfort to your #treefort2016 schedule!
Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm in the midst of Treefort Music Fest, scope out the Kidfort Teepee just outside the Main Stage. Here is where you can get a David Bowie make-over, create a Dada inspired pin to wear and contribute your own personal artistic touches to our interactive giant unicorn sculpture. Introducing your kids to the talented, diverse and creative artistic scene in Boise has never been easier!
It’s not too late to get your 7-12 year old signed up to be a part of the Kidfort Road Show SPRING BREAK CAMP, March 21-25 from 9am to 5pm.
Twenty kids will spend the week of spring break working with a special team of educators to create dance, song and artistic props for the Road Show performances held throughout Treefort. Our instructors include Trey Burkhead (musical theater performer, comedian, actor and educator from Dallas, TX), Kris Ashley (with Celebrate the Beatfrom Denver, CO, Kelly Rule (visual artist from Boise ID), and Leta Neustaedter (children’s acting and vocal instruction, Boise, ID). Snacks provided, but please pack a sack lunch. Cost is $325 per student (no child is turned away for inability to pay).
Contact TRICA (email@example.com or call 208-344-2220) to sign up.
On Sunday, March 27th, don’t miss the Main Stage Kidfort Easter Egg Hunt. Hunters aged 12 and under should gather at the Kidfort teepee by 9:30am on Easter Morning (Yes, there will be coffee for the parents). 1,500 treat-loaded eggs, some with extra-special surprises, will be hidden inside the Main Stage area. And of course, the Easter Bunny will be there with his Treefort wristband on.
As always, Kidfort is free and open to the public.
